Patricia Calas-Dufour

After several professional opportunities in the world of entertainment, Patricia Calas-Dufour became a ceramic sculptor, and in the last few years has also worked in parallel as a clinical psychologist. Her need to create is expressed in the creation of statuettes and shaped bowls, fired using the raku technique, for which she has developed a quest for glazes with unusual colours.

She creates characters which are simply presented in everyday situations, in order to initiate a story that each person can pursue. Her representations of the human body always arouse emotion and readily find a resonance that can surprise or challenge the observer.
