Claire Roger
There is in my work a graphic adventure, one based on coloured clays, pigmented in the mass. Ultimately, what makes it unique is the simultaneous treatment of colour, graphics and volume.
The thickness of the material used is the starting point for the graphics.
It involves ideas such as: stratifying, crossing, building up layers, juxtaposing, repeating, modulating etc.
I like for my work to be something that lasts, hour after hour, day after day.
Exhibition from 17 March to 24 April 2018
Private View: Saturday 17 March from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Private view is preceded by a chance to meet the artists at 5 pm.
Open every day from 11 am to 6 pm.
