Pierre Jaggi

Sculptor and visual artist Pierre Jaggi has travelled the world to take part in artists’ residences, festivals and commissions for monumental sculptures. He works with various materials, even ice; he carves, models, cuts, assembles…. If his creations essentially take geometrical forms, they involve movement and therefore temporality, they alternate between equilibrium and imbalance and thus create a sound environment. Sculptures and installations are made according to events, landscapes and provoke reactions, encounters, exchanges. The ceramics are the result of numerous experiments. The work surprises and questions.
