From the very beginning, the thing that has fed into my work is the theme of the living.
Using coils as a technique, working on the form, the material and the colour, I am attempting to bring life to this mineral substance that is stoneware clay.
From a fixed, hard, cold form, I am trying to evoke an envelope, a flexible, lived-in skin, an organic material.
Exhibition from 12 October to 19 November, 2019.
Opening Saturday, October 12 from 6pm to 9pm preceded by a meeting with the artist at 5pm.
Open every day from 11 am to 6 pm.
